About The Riverside: the back story
Charoen Krung, Bangkok’s first paved road, runs along the river through Bang Rak, past the Mandarin Oriental, the old customs house quarter and the galleries of the creative district, down to Capella, the Four Seasons and Asiatique.

The creative district
Charoen Krung’s old shophouses hold galleries, bars and restaurants, from 80/20 and Samlor to Tropic City and Aksorn (MICHELIN; the venues’ websites).
Use the river: the hotel boats and the Express Boat beat the traffic.
Our advice: sunset at Sky Bar, then dinner at Le Normandie or along Charoen Krung.
