About Wat Arun

Wat Arun stands on the Thonburi bank opposite Tha Tien pier; the cross-river ferry takes a few minutes. Its central prang is decorated with fragments of Chinese porcelain. TAT gives its hours as 8am to 6pm and the fee for foreign visitors as 200 baht. Dress modestly, with shoulders and knees covered, and take your shoes off before entering the halls.
