About Silom and Sathorn: the back story
Silom and Sathorn are Bangkok’s business district, running from the river to Lumphini Park, with the BTS above Silom and the MRT below Rama IV. The Sukhothai, COMO Metropolitan and the new Dusit Thani are here, and the Mahanakhon tower rises by Chong Nonsi.

Lumphini Park lies at the eastern end of Silom, between Rama IV and Sathorn (TAT).
Start the day in Lumphini Park and end it high above Silom.
